PU - Puretex

ELECTRICAL CONTACT CLEANER

  • Safer than most materials for cleaning solvent sensitive surfaces. It has none or almost negligible action on plastics or wire insulation.
  • Leaves absolutely no residue on drying, thus producing an ultra-pure clean surface.
  • Non-Corrosive. Has no water content and will not corrode moisture sensitive parts.
  • Safe to Skin. It also has very little odor.
  • Safer in enclosed areas.
  • Does not contain the carcinogenic Carbon Tetrachloride or Trichloro Ethylene, or ozone depleting compounds.
PURETEX is specially developed, ultra high purity, fast drying, electrical grade solvent cleaner for electrical and electronic components sensitive to ordinary solvent cleaners. It is non-corrosive and does not change circuit characteristics.

Application and Use

  • PURETEX is a formula developed to quickly remove oil, grease, flux and other contaminants from all de-energized electrical or electronic devices, precision electromechanical mechanisms, relays, metal surface preparation, tape heads, telephone equipment, Lox systems, precision instruments, coin chutes, electronic chassis, motors, tuners, contacts, alarms, controls, recorders, signals, timers, computers, gyroscopes, connectors, switches, magnetic tapes, calculators, etc.
  • Spray freely with nozzle close to surface. If area is hard to reach, use the snorkel tube. Switches or relays should be operated while being sprayed to assure through cleaning. De-energize all electrical equipment before use.
