Nitrile gloves are a type of disposable glove made of synthetic rubber. They contain no latex and offer excellent resistance to wear and tear. Nitrile gloves are more puncture resistant than many other types of rubber gloves and can be used to offer superior resistance to many types of chemicals. They are often considered to be one of the strongest types of disposable gloves and are generally safe for people who are allergic to latex. Unlike other disposable gloves, Nitrile gloves have low resistance to friction and are very easy to slide on. Nitrile gloves come in a variety of sizes to fit most hands.
