APPLICATION AND USE

  • VOLTEX II cleans and degreases power tools, electrical motors, air-conditioning and refrigerating equipment, industrial equipment, elevators and escalators, printing equipment etc.
  • May also be used to remove adhesives, resins, and also stains from clothing. May attack certain varnishes, rubbers and plastics - Test before use on these materials.
  • Do not dip, soak or spray plastic parts (typewriter keys, housings, push-buttons, plastic insulators) with VOLTEX II until these parts have been completely tested for solvent effects. VOLTEX II may soften or dissolve certain types of plastics.
  • Dip Cleaning:
    Place VOLTEX II in a metal tank with a tight cover to prevent evaporation loss. Soak parts or equipment to be cleaned in the dip tank for several minutes and agitate to loosen dissolved deposits. Remove parts and flush with a small quantity of fresh VOLTEX II to remove traces of dissolved grease form the dip tank.
