THERMOFLEX CLEARis a universal high tech co extruded polyolefin dual wall shrink tube, with integrated meltable adhesive and sealant. THERMOFLEX CLEAR provides a wide range of applications where mechanical protection and or moisture proof protection of components and interconnections is required. THERMOFLEX CLEAR, when heated, shrinks to a ratio of 3/1. At the heat application the adhesives melts. During this process the adhesive transfers to a sealant and protects the application against water, humidity and chemicals. Due its low shrink temperature, THERMOFLEX CLEAR is easy to apply and has a high temperature resistance. Because of the high shrink rate only eight sizes are necessary to reach most applications.

APPLICATION AND USE

  • can be used on all electrical applications (cables - cables splycing - connections) to insulate, to protect and to seal. Can be used in contact with chemicals. Is not resistant to earth alcalines. Protects metal tubing against corrosion and wear.
