GEAREX ia a long term protection for manual gearboxes of all types. GEAREX is an advanced gear oil treatment that will significantly enhance performance characteristics of automotive and industrial gear oils. GEAREX is a high-performance lubricant containing the highly effective organic molybdenum compound OMC2.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Appearance: Red Liquid.
Odor: like mineral oil.
Flash Point: 200°C (ISO 3679).
Vapor Pressure: 8000hPa at 20°C,
​ 9500hPa at 50°C.
Density (at 20 °C): 0,91 g/cm³ (DIN 51757).		Viscosity / kinematic (at 40 °C): 1100 mm²/s (DIN EN ISO 3104).
Water Solubility: Insoluble​.
Shelf life: 12 month.

APPLICATION AND USE

  • For best results drain old gear oil first, then refill with new gear oil pretreated with GEAREX or add GEAREX after fresh gear oil has been added.
  • 1 liter of GEAREX will treat 10 liters of SAE 90 (or SAE 80W90) gear oil.
  • 1 liter of GEAREX will treat 20 liters of SAE 140 (or SAE 85W140) gear oil.
  • GEAREX is not recommended for use in automatic transmissions, automatic transaxle assemblies and farm equipment that is equipped with central systems requiring a gear/hydraulic oil.
  • Note: Not suitable for polyglycol oils and it is not recommended for use with other high performance adhesive/cohesive gear oils.
  • Do not over treat with this product.
