Application and Use

  • Surface Preparation:
    Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease, dirt and oil. Remove loose rust and paint with coarse sand paper or wire brush.
  • Shake AERO HALT well for at least one minute before using.
  • Apply when work piece and can are at temperature of 8-25°C.
  • Holding can 20 to 30 cm from the surface, spray a thin, even coating of AERO HALT onto the rusted metal. Spray 2-3 layers "wet in wet" without sagging.
  • Let the layer convert and dry.
  • Final application will dry to a black finish.
  • Maybe painted after curing for approximately six hours.
