EPX - Epox Stick

EPOXY RESIN REPAIR STICK

  • Copper, Water, Steel and Metal: Fills cracks and holes Temperature resistant up to 180°C and up to 300°C for short times Used for on-the-spot repairs Easy to use Can be painted and sanded
  • Aluminium: Fills cracks and holes Hard as metal Used for on-the-spot repairs Can be worked mechanically Easy to use
  • Wood: Fills cracks and holes Temperature resistant up to 180°C and up to 300°C for short times Used for on-the-spot repairs Useful for repairs of wood products (e.g. planks, furniture, wooden flooring,...)
EPOX STICK is an epoxy resin repair stick which fills up cracks and holes. Due to its different types like aluminium, copper, wood, water and steel and metal it can be used in industries, automotive, construction and even for household use. EPOX STICK is used for on-the-spot and emergancy repairs. As EPOX STICK is worked like a modelling clay, it is easy to handle for every user.

Application and Use

  • USE:
Aluminium: Repairing incorrectly drilled boreholes, holes in pipes, cavities and all cracks in metal, wood and plastic. Mechanical working is after a short time possible. Parts can be ground, milled, bored and painted over.

Wood: Useful for repairs of wood products like planks, furniture, boards and plywood, particle boards, wooden flooring, wooden applied products.

Water, Copper, Steel and Metal: Repairs in industries, workshops, marine, automotive, construction and also household use.
EPOX STICK Steel/Metal has excellent machinability like drilling, tapping, turning, milling etc. after curing. It can be painted or sanded.
  • APPLICATION:
Water, Copper, Wood, Steel and Metal: Make the application surface clean, dry and free from dust, rust, oil etc. If the surface to be applied is smooth, roughen it with sand-paper for better adhesion. Wear protective eye glasses and hand-gloves whenever necessary. Cut the required quantitiy of EPOX STICK. Mix the putty homogeneously and apply the mixture immediately on the surface to be bonded. Apply pressure to hold the surface unti the adhesive cures.

Aluminium: The parts to be repaired must be clean and oil and grease-free. Roughening increases the strength of the bond. Cut off the required quanitiy of EPOX STICK and knead it for approximately 2 minutes until an even colour has been produced and the material becomes warm. Then apply EPOX STICK to the parts and mould it. Mechanical working can be done after approximately 20 minutes. Final hardening occures after 24 hours. Do not work at outdoor temperatures below 5°C.
